5 years have passed since THS celebrated its 50th anniversary; what a great celebration it was! I have fond memories of Scott Seaman, principal, and Louisa Ward Shimamoto calling a meeting to gather a group of Alums to plan and execute this event held in September 2011. It seemed like a lot of work but it was so much fun to reminisce with old classmates and work as a group to make this celebration happen. It felt as if we were back in high school working as teams to plan and organize a school activity. When September came, It was so much fun to see folks I hadn’t seen since high school. This event was the inspiration to form an alumni association so here we are 5 years later, an incorporated non-profit charitable association promoting alumni connectivity, having fun, and giving back to THS through our scholarship program. If you are not currently a member, we hope you will consider joining THSAA.
